The Council

The Council honors the spirit of the campfire.

This is our dedicated meeting space, with conference rooms of different sizes configured around a circular open-air courtyard, each equipped with the state-of-the-art technology to connect the Council to the rest of campus … and the world beyond.

The Café

Come to the café for coffee or conversation between work sessions. You’ll appreciate the sunlight pouring down through the ceiling “shy-light.” This is also the spot to enjoy views of both the central courtyard and the lake.

A variety of conference rooms

The Council building features several different meeting spaces, each equipped with modular seating and state-of-the-art technology to meet the needs of a group, from a large conference room capable of hosting 126 participants to a side room for 6 to 8.

Views in every direction

We built the Council in the shape of a circle to resemble seats around a campfire. That gives each meeting room lots of natural light and a unique view outdoors. You might see the lake … or a fawn walking by.

Around the courtyard

The Council is a good place to work even if you aren’t in a meeting. You’ll find lots of other spaces for talking, teaming, or just thinking, overlooking the light-filled central courtyard.

Live streaming allows real-time transmission of audio and video content. It’s no object to bring in lecturers—or hold a brainstorming session—with colleagues anywhere in the world.

Every meeting space in the Council comes equipped with high-resolution video cameras and monitors with extreme refresh rates and high pixel density.

Connected Network

High quality audio systems in the Council provide the ability to broadcast to other conference rooms within the building or to other parts of campus via networked smart speaker systems.
