Mission-driven organizations including civic institutions, foundations, advocacy and policy organizations, cultural and education nonprofits, social impact ventures, and community-based organizations will use the Center for breakthrough strategy sessions, high-impact meetings, receptions and retreats. Focus areas may include policy and programmatic development, infrastructure investment, innovation acceleration, coalition building, cross-sector collaboration. The Center’s setting, intentionally designed to encourage transformative collaboration, will lend fresh energy to the work of fostering meaningful change.
Smithsonian American Women’s History Museum Case study
If it takes a village to raise a child, it takes many villages to launch a national history museum. One such museum gaining momentum is the Smithsonian American Women’s History Museum, legislated into existence by Congress in December 2020. The mission of this new museum is to “expand the story of America through the often-untold accounts and accomplishments of women—individually and collectively—to better understand our past and inspire our future.”…
