Since Day One, harmonizing with the natural beauty of our site has been a core value. We’ve made every effort to live up to that, including using a tower crane during construction so that we could lift material in and out without disturbing the trees.
As hardscaping completes in each section of campus, we’re landscaping that space. It means bringing in grasses, perennials, shrubs, and trees native to this part of Wisconsin from a list that’s literally hundreds of species long. Every plant has been vetted as indigenous to our area.
We estimate it will take about three to five years of active management to restore our property to the high-quality woodland that was here a few hundred years ago. We’re excited to see that transformation take shape and look forward to watching the progress unfold.
